Lovely stay , bedroom was small ( cosy room ) but stylish good tea and coffee and bathroom facilities. Comfy bed

A very friendly welcome, all staff were great. A well kept and tidy pub, good range of drinks and food. The room was very well appointed since we were upgraded free to an ‘indulgence’ room. No noise issues. The restaurant was very popular, deservingly so because of the service and quality of food. Breakfast was also excellent.

Very nice place to stay. Staff nice and friendly. Clean , would recommend. Breakfast had lovely wide choice. Bedrooms large, so if ever in the area again, would stay. We had been to races, nearby.

Very pleasant pub/hotel. Great location at the bottom of the High Street, near the river and castle. Nice rooms with quirky character. Pleasant & helpful staff. Good food. The only downside was there weren't enough staff and the service was very slow as a result. We would still go back though.
