Leisure trip

Hotel is centrally located. It is a good base for exploring the beautiful country side. A lot to do especially for those who enjoys walking in Woodland Trails. We have a pleasant stay on our way to Aberdeen. On the minus side, there are no comfortable lounge chair to rest apart from going to one's room. All the communal areas are dressed up for having a meal i.e table and four chairs. Not sure about the bar area, we are not drinkers.

perfect stay

we stayed here for one night and everything was perfect including all the staff perfect location and great value for money breakfast was great

Sadly Lacking For a Best Western

We have stayed in Best Western Hotels previously and expected consistent quality. This hotel is run down and very tired; the bedroom was acceptable but the food was poor and over priced and the staff less than welcoming. The whole hotel was in dire need of re-decoration and a thorough clean. Best Western is a brand, as is the Premier Inn; guests should be able to expect good value and a consistent quality, this was not the case here.

Noisy !

Wow was it noisy on the man street and a 40 th birthday party in the hotel . The staff were fab though . The hotel is jaded and not up to Best Western standards . The breakfast was a bit like rations !
