Couldn't ask for more, FANTASTIC!

One of the best hotel experiences ever and all thanks to the receptionist Alma, she was amazing and really went out of her way to make my birthday weekend in Barcelona special. Great location, you're on the marina and 5/10mins walk from la rambla. If you're going to Barcelona and want a hotel that is great all round then this is definitely the place to stay.

A very nice hotel with a great view from the rooftop. The hotel rooms are clean and the staff is really kind. It is close to the beach and I was really satisfied.

Good location away from the crowd

The staff were really friendly and the room was a really good size and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely welcome with a bottle of Cava, a nice touch. We had a difficult evening with a neighbour playing very loud music at 2am, the staff were fantastic and came straight up to resolve the issue. The plug for the kettle is an issue as you have to plug in at the bathroom but that is only once per day. The whirlpool bath was also great. The location is great as it is 5 minutes from La Rambla...If you are interested in that area. If you go towards the castle there are some much better restaurants. The restaurant Gran Turino is fantastic and close to the hotel.

Birthday trip

Overall the stay was ok. Had numerous problems with the keys for the doors which left us locked out of our room on many occasions. Took staff along time to sort this out and 4 phone calls to reception. Before staying we rang ahead requesting a room with a balcony and were told this wouldn't be a problem. Once we arrived we didn't have a room with a balcony therefore were disappointed. Food expensive and not very much to chose from. Hotel in ideal place close to bus tour points. Room cleaned daily. Would stay again.

Great hotel in a great location

Stay here for 4 nights in mid March, the hotel was very clean, tidy and well maintained. It was in a great area with some great views and just a few minutes walk from the bustling La Rambla where there are loads of shops, bars and restaurants. The staff are what made this hotel so fantastic, every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and would do everything in their power to make our stay the best it could be. The drawbacks were that food and drink was a bit on the pricey side but as I said its a few mins walk from La Rambla so you don't have to eat or drink at the hotel. Also the pool and jacuzzi were not in use due to it being out of season. Being British, 16c is more than warm enough for an outdoor pool, the gym however was open which was much better than most hotel gyms with plenty of space and enough equipment for a decent workout. Overall I rate this hotel very highly, the rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable with great views. On a side note, the pillows in the room were the best I've experienced! The staff make this hotel and I would happily stay here again if I were to visit Barcelona again.

Perfect location

Very good hotel, although the pool was deceptively small (did not compare to photo on web site). Staff very friendly. could do with better pillows and some actual tea and coffee in the room, to go along with the kettle. Drinks and mini-bar expensive. Lovely location with views over the city and across the marina, quite but still local to the main tourist spots.
