Lovely room with a great city view. Very near to underground station so very easy to travel about the sights of Barcelona. Would stay here again.

An excellent stay, I really loved the view, the location was practical (metro station nearby) and I also would like to congratulate the staff for being so helpful, nice and incredible! Not so satisfied with the cleanliness of the room (the carpet) and with the fact that I always kept the closet's door closed only to find it open practically every time! I am sure it was because the wanted to check the availability of slippers, still, I would have preferred for the door to stay closed after. I would also like to comment that for a hotel of this magnitude a bigger pool would be ideal. The staff was amazing! From the reception, the bellboys who were parking my car as well as the staff of the breakfast area! So professional and always smiling! Congratulations again! I will definitelly recommend Barcelona Princess Hotel to my friends and when I come back to Barcelona I will make a reservation there again! :-)

Had a fantastic 4 days great location plenty of shops and restaurants close by, 3 miles from the centre. Immaculate through out the hotel I couldn't fault it. I will definitely book again in the future

The staff are extra nice and were very accommodating as we had a special diet and they warmed us up our special food to the best top service!!!! Highly recomended!!!!!!!

Booked this hotel in may for August, I rang them many times confirming the booking and adding special request as it was my other half’s birthday and wanted to spoil him, I rang them two days before flying out there as a final confirmation and they said everything was fine and that I pay for everything when I get to the hotel. I get to the hotel after a long flight and long travel to the hotel, and they say the reservation was cancelled and they had sent a email whilst I was on my flight coming to Barcelona letting me know it was cancelled however I never received the email nor did I receive a call and their apparent rule is to let you know 24hours ahead for a cancellation, not a few hours on the same day. When I tried to resolve the issue with them the manager wa disgustingly rude and horrible and didn’t want to help at all, was trying to tell me there’s no rooms available and that all hotels in Barcelona were fully booked, bare in mind this is my first time coming to this country I was scared thinking where to go. He was then trying to send me to a very more expensive hotel for a night and then come back to his hotel for even more money and offered to buy me a drink as a apology. He then tells me there’s a cheaper hotel next door but when I get to the other hotel they ask for 350 for just the one night, luckily we got a good deal at a good hotel, the sb zero hotel, who’s staff were a lot nicer and actually cared about the people who’s staying at their hotel.

Not 4 star quality

My friends and 1 ( 3 of us) stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. We asked for a triple room and the layout was disappointing with one of us secluded in as all 3 beds were not in one place . The wing in which the 3rd one of us was was cold at night. Despite being a triple room there were 2 towels / 2 glasses /2dressing gowns and clear that there was no acknowledgment that there were 3 people staying in the room. For a 4 star hotel there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room . No irons available both were to be paid for ! Certainly not 4 star quality! Checked out the pool area and it was dismal. Not tidied up with towels everywhere and the pool was so tiny. I wonder how they manage in summer ! Hotel was far from central Barcelona and had to get metro into central Barcelona each day . Metro was however close by. I certainly would. It recommend this hotel at all due to the distance from central Barcelona and the standards which are far beyond what I’m used to and what I would expect in a 4 star hotel. I was disappointed to see some lovely hotels in central barcelona which we could have booked had we known.

I am, however, very concerned to read that your experience did not live up to your expectations and that you left feeling disappointed. We are placed in a very dynamic area near the city centre (just 4 Km away) and really well connected to the city by metro, bus, tram and train. But if you prefer to stay in the area, there is a shopping mall just next to us with many restaurants, shops and facilities. And also 10 minutes walking distance from the beah. All our triple rooms are superior rooms, with a living room before entering to the bedroom where we have the 3rd bed. You can contact our reception department at any time in case of some missing amenity in the room and our team will be happy to provide everything you need. About ironing, we do not have irons for security reasons but we have a laundry service available. We pick up your clothes and give you back during the same day, and we also have an express service if it´s more suitable for you. All our rooms have a minibar that is free and that our team fill every day. There is no coffee facilities in room, but you can take a coffee, tea, or whatever you prefer in our bar or even order it to your room as we have a 24h room service. We have two heated swimming pools in the hotel. One in the 3rd floor and the other one in the 23rd. This one is an infinity pool (one of the highest in the city) with magnificent views to the Mediterrean sea. We always work to improve hotel facilities and during your stay our team was working in one of the pools, but the other one was available if you wanted to use it. I sincerely hope to welcome you back in order to give you the spotless experience you deserve Kindest regards,

Close to a metro easy to visit anywhere, enjoy the quiet of the beaches and occasionally visit the Rambles area, to be honest is over rated IMHO. Yet the whole city of Barcelona is truly amazing. Thieves pick pockets do operate on the metro,as in most major city's.

Nice hotel with good views

Pros: The view from our room on the top floor was very good.
Cons: Staff training
Location: Location ideal if visiting the CCIB, not ideal for central Barcelona.
Overall a good experience, unfortunately staff were difficult to deal with at times and sometimes had an attitude.
