Comfort and tranquillity right on La Ramblas

Staying at the Atiram Oriente was a brilliant way to have a comfortable and peaceful retreat right in the busy heart of Barcelona. Our room was quiet and it was beautifully cleaned and made up with fresh linen every day. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. No hesitation to recommend this hotel for location and quality and value for money.

Great weekend break

Stayed in this hotel mainly for it's location on La Rambla as we were walking everywhere. The location is fabulous and is in easy reach of some of the main attractions and metro stations in Barcelona. The hotel itself was a little tired and the room we were in could have done with a bit of TLC but they were in the process of redecorating the hallways so I'm assuming the rooms are on the to do list. Room was basic but that's what we wanted, just somewhere to sleep and wash. If you are wanting luxury I would probably book elsewhere but it's perfect as a base. The staff were very friendly and helpful also I was happy that despite getting to the hotel at 11am we could still book in straight away.

Cheap and great location with friendly staff

-Perfect location for the city centre -Small room -30 min walk to beach and big clubs -Mini fridge did not work -Staff were friendly and helpful BOOK A STREET FACING ROOM OR BE STUCK WITH THE VIEW OF A BLOCK OF OTHER ROOMS! Pay the extra if you have to.

Great for weekend break!

This is a nice hotel in Las Ramblas so completely the right spot for sightseers... We didn't eat there as its a couple of minutes from La Boqueria! Staff were polite and quite friendly and the rooms were small but as you spend only a little time there this is fine for a long weekend and the rooms are clean, sometimes it can get quite hot but this was not a problem!

Perfect for a short stay in Barcelona

We were pleasantly surprised with our room. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly. The hotel itself is situated at the heart of La Rambla and only a 2minute walk from the local met station Liceu. The only downside was the noise, as the commotion outside lasted until the early hours of the morning. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and it was really worth the money.

Perfect location, but basic

overall a very good experience .. It is THE perfect location, in the middle part of La Ramblas .. The metro stop is right outside, and plenty of eating and shopping places nearby .. Palau Guell is also in the next street. However, the ammenities are very basic, there is mainly no iron (only an ironing service) and the rooms are basic, but overall clean.. Good for the price, but not luxury.

Location great, but....

Hotel in a perfect position on Las Ramblas, near Metro and nightlife. Had chosen a deluxe room with a balcony overlooking Las Ramblas, but upon arrival found the outside of the hotel surrounded by scaffolding and screened off due to maintenance work. We were unable to open the balcony doors in our room to allow fresh air in and had to have the lights on as so dismal. Room also had a minibar which comprised a couple of soft drinks and water, this was never replenished during our stay. Whilst I was disappointed with our room, as the trip was a birthday gift for my sister, I would probably return as its in a great location.

Emplacement remarquable

Le personnel est très sympathique et peux fournir de bonnes adresses de restaurants. Possibilité de louer des vélos pour la journée.

Odotusten Barcelona

Hotellin sijainti hyvä etenkin vanhaa kaupunkia ajatellen, parhaisiin ostospaikkoihin matkaa.Esittelyn mukaan hotellista saa paremman vaikutelman mitä todellisuudessa on.Kerroksissa remonttia, nuhjuisuutta,ei niin ylellinen mitä odotti.Hintalaatusuhde ei ihan kohdallaan.
