Barking Hotels with Restaurants

"The hotel was excellent all around"

"Three night stay was good with a good plentiful breakfast. Hotel is within walking distance of Covent Garden (20 mins) and don't be put off by the exterior, it's better inside. Very friendly and helpful reception staff but the bar staff in the "London Pub" which is part of the hotel leave a lot to be desired. An additional service charge was slipped on to my bill when ordering 2 pints and I wasn't given a receipt so I only noticed as my colleague purchased the same round and it was cheaper. That was rectified by a sheepish but apologetic manager very quickly. We experienced yet mor awful bar service when my colleague wa stood at the bar and ignored for 5 minutes and was only served when the member of staff was told to stop messing with her hair and serve him. I too fell foul of this individual when I was eventually served with a grunt and the card machine slammed down in front of me. She then went back to chatting with her friends and doing her hair. So, hotel great, London Bar, lots of attitude and not so customer friendly. "
