A pleasant hotel with plenty of character and good public transport links into the historic city of Bath. Every need was catered for - an honesty bar had snacks and drinks when we arrived late in the evening. Breakfast was ample and had lots of vegan options, all delivered to the room at a time of our choosing. We felt very well looked after.

Lovely stay in Bath

Pros: Could park (without paying) along the road. A fair walk into Bath, but we enjoy walking. Could breakfast included in the price.
Cons: Not that we needed it, but I don't think there's a lift in the hotel.
Location: It's about a 40 minute walk into Bath with all the things in Bath to do. There is a lovely park (with plant sale) to go through to get into Bath.
We had a lovely room with a four poster bed with lovely views. The room was very comfortable with a good shower en-suite. Breakfast was served in a lovely hamper and you could chose what hot breakfast you wanted - which was really nice. The hotel staff were very helpful with the way to walk into Bath and provided us with a map. It was a lovely walk (downhill) through the park and without the staff, we wouldn't have known this way, and would just have walked the road way. Received vouchers (for not having towels washed) and put them towards a bottle of wine. We hope to come back again in December and will definitely staff at the Cranleigh.
