This hotel was a pleasure to stay at. I loved the family room this was ideal for me and my family due to the ages of my children. The bathroom was clean, with all features in excellent working order. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The location is ideal as it is in the centre of Bath. I would definitely stay here again.

Room quite small. Was expecting two double beds (got singles). We had trouble sleeping as bathroom ventilation system did not turn off and was extremely noisy. Was told nothing could be done about it. Good selection at breakfast however, the only thing that was hot was the toast. Everything else was luke warm. The only good thing about the hotel was it's location. Short walk to all the attractions. Would not stay again. £177 per night was not worth the money.

Happy with Bath City Hilton. Was concerned beforehand with some reviews we read, but we were very happy with the staff, the hotel itself and had no problems with the quality of the beds or rooms as mentioned in other reviews. The hotel is in an excellent location and all main attractions are within walking distance. We would recommend this hotel for future holidays. It is not a luxury hotel but it is clean, comfortable and the staff are very obliging.

Beautiful views from our family room. This hotel is very centrally located and the car park below the hotel was helpful and good value, given the cost of parking in the city. For the cost of the room it seemed a shame that we were expected to pay extra for wi-fi. The breakfast was a little chaotic. Overall I would recommend the hotel.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of bath

Cons: The outside of the hotel needs considerable improvement to bring it up to the standard of the inside and other Hilton hotels.
We stayed here for 1 night visiting friends in bath and even though the outside of the hotel needs improving a lot!, the inside was lovely. We booked a plaza family room for ourselves and our daughter and the room was very clean and spacious with a lovely modern bathroom. There was a super king-size bed and a sofa bed, both comfortable. The room on the third floor was over looking the river with stunning views of bath. The hotel is situated in city centre which was good to see the sights. The breakfast was excellent with so much choice and variety including cereals, fruit, muffins, cooked breakfast and juices. A definite reason to stay again! The only negative we could say would be there is no wi-fi in rooms included in the cost only on the ground floor/lobby which a teenager doesn't like!

Good location and amazing stay

Amazing hotel in a central location. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Prompt service, especially when our heating wasn't working and a service staff was sent immediately. Highly recommended.

Christmas/ New Year Break

Hotel location is excellent for access to central Bath and car park arrangements of £15 per access to the nearby site reasonable if you are staying for a few days and walking everywhere once you have arrived. View from our room over the river was lovely and general room decor good. Staff service was incredibly varied - from extremely helpful and welcoming to being dismissive or completely ignored - as examples.. On the first morning at breakfast I asked for cranberry juice as it was not on display and it arrived within a few moments with a smile. In the afternoon we were joined by friends and all ordered hot chocolate. As the cafe area ran out of medium size mugs, two of our party were given larger sized servings at no additional cost - which was much appreciated - but the same evening when we visited the restaurant we were told that the steak as described on the standard menu for the evening (which wasn't cheap!) was no longer available so if we wanted this option we would have to pay extra.....and no we would not be allowed to mix food items from the a la carte menu and standard menu at any price when trying to consider other options .....so in the end we politely declined to eat in the restaurant and went into the city - aware we might not be able to get served anywhere else but so annoyed we were willing to take the risk! After a few minutes walk we arrived at a nearby Bistro - Bill's located in Cheap Street - who were extremely welcoming despite the late hour and where we had a really fabulous meal of exactly what we wanted and where prices for wine and food were significantly less than the hotels....so were really pleased we had voted with our feet! At breakfast the following morning I again asked for cranberry juice but this time despite repeated requests from various members of staff it never arrived. So all in all would be happy to recommend the hotel as a very comfortable base - but not as a place to eat or expect great service.

Great central location

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to attend our son's graduation. The location is perfect only 5 minutes walk to the Abbey, restaurants and shops. Our only disappointment was that we could hear the TV in the adjacent room which the people had on quite load until about 1am on both nights! Once the TV went off we had a comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was very nice and the staff very helpful and obliging.

perfect location

The parking was not clear, would be good to mention on the hotel website the Podium carpark located under the hotel and you can validate parking at the reception area. Apart from this, the trip was perfect.
