Just as we hoped .. from an earlier experience. Lovely food (apart from the salad) and just a lovely place to relax. Comfortable.....clean....warm.

We had to alter our booking a couple of times for the 4 rooms we had booked.. This was done without any hassle.. Friendly helpful staff.. nice comfortable rooms.. Lovely old building.

Avoid like the plague

Well the hotel look nice but the room was small and in need of modifications the food was ok and reasonable priced the desaster happened in the morning when I saw my van door was open a jar they robed everything and smashed at least 3 other car windows it cost me £2500 to replace my tools the response from the desk guy was very apologetic but he didn't seemed surprised and said the cameras are useless avoid like the plague.

Amazing hotel

Only stayed for the one night but was very nice, the staff were friendly on arrival and very helpful, the room was clean and very nice, only downside to the entire stay was that the wrong dessert was brought twice however the staff quickly resolved the matter and continued to make us feel welcome during our stay. Cannot wait to stay again.

Amazing

An amazing night, comfortable bed, great service from the staff, after a small mistake with a food order a full complimentary replacement was brought to the room, only downside to entire stay was the room was a tad smaller then expected but everything else was perfect.

Had to cancel this visit due to family problems.

Pros: quiet location
Cons: communication lacks a bit on the very rare occasion ...i.e. book a particular room only to find it had already been allocated to other guests
Location: nuneaton -hinckley-leicester-coventry-birmingham ..coombe abbey etc etc all with in easy reach
had to cancel this time ..but have stayed there on numerous previous visits and found it to be a lovely location ..clean rooms friendly staff ...not that far from any big town but you would not know it ...Will stay there again

Nice hotel in a quiet setting

Lovely hotel, quiet but not far from major roads. Had apparently booked the last room but saw very few people around. Lovely food good portions. Room 29 was nice albeit small. Bed also small and not very comfortable. Nice modern bathroom, large shower cubicle but shower quite weak. Overall worth the price but would ask for a bigger room next time

One-night stopover

Hotel was known to us and adequate for our needs. The building is impressive but the internals are dated. Good breakfast. No real complaints.
