"Small executive" small yes executive no

Pros: Location
Cons: Not let anyone stay in rooms like 601 without putting blackout blinds and directing the kitchen extractor fans away from the room.
Location: Loads of restaurants, good for rail infreatructure.
Room 601....avoid...floodlights outside window means night is brighter than day and the smell from the kitchens permeates your consciousness and clothing from 6am onwards. Even when I checked out the staff member smiled as if he knew I had the bad room. In reality, all hotels must have such a room, worse than the rest but I cannot review it well as this was my experience.

Great location/room, best for being mostly outside

The central location of the hotel is perfect for being able to see the wider city. Alexanderplatz itself isn't the most interesting place, but the tube, bus, train and tram connections make it incredibly easy to get around the city. I never really had to spend more than 20 mins in public transport to get back from anywhere. The room in the hotel was also great value and very comfortable. I upgraded to the superior for a very small charge and had a fantastic view to boot. The big drawback is that the hotel has no free wifi (it's there, but at €0.5/m it's extortionate) and the room had terrible phone reception. We had to leave to do any real activity planning which was frustrating. The other extras were kind of expensive too - €2 per bag for left luggage per day, €19.90 per person per day for breakfast (not needed, plenty of good nearby and much cheaper places to discover, and that price would have made it the 2nd most expensive meal I had on the trip!) Ultimately I would reccomend this place, particularly as a first time in the city like mine, but be aware of those potential extra costs and challenges. Next time for the right price I'd be tempted to find somewhere in a new-to-me part of the city that has at least wifi or reception though.

Check in took 45 minutes

Arrived in the afternoon to check into our room and there was a giant queue, all with people who were also very annoyed about the long wait. None of us were informed as to why there was such a long queue or wait to check in/out and reception staff seemed very unhappy. Very dissapointing as it cut into our time in Berlin over the weekend. Apart from this our room was great and the restaurant Spagos was delicious with an exceptionally lovely waiter: thank you. + amazing location.

Fabulous hotel

The location of the hotel is just perfect. It's directly across from Alexanderplatz train station and close to shopping bars & restaurants. The check in to hotel was very quick and we were upgraded to a suite upon check in. The room was large and spotlessly clean. I'll be returning to their hotel at a later date without hesitation.

Pros: Location
Had a fabulous 3 night stay at the Park Inn. Location is excellent and Alexanderplatz is vabrant and fun. Room was a little small but perfectly adequate for a short stay.

Great hotel and very central

Great hotel and easy to get to from Schonfeld airport. My only criticism is that it would be nice to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There is plenty in the fridges for the minibar but to have a cuppa before the start of the day would of been great. We did not have food in the hotel so cannot comment on that.

Excellent

I have stayed here a few times for both business and pleasure whilst it's not a traditional German hotel, it is clean, modern, well run, friendly and extremely well situated. You can get everywhere in the city from here and there is always a member of multi-lingual staff around to help you! I would recommend staying here for both business and pleasure. At Christmas there are markets outside the hotel also! :)

Excellent hotel

This hotel is well located for visitors, within walking distance of Berlin's main tourist attractions. It is very close to a main railway station and underground. The hotel facilities are very good and the buffet breakfast has an excellent choice.

Clean tidy with fantastic location

Very efficient and functional. Two drawbacks on our deal. No breakfast included and no tea making facilities in the room.
