Absolutely beautiful historic hidden hotel! A small treasure in Wolverhampton. This hotel was well kept, like a museum. The garden is beautiful and clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful and very compliant with cleanliness during this pandemic. Booked this very last minute so price was great and they also allowed us to check in early - great!

So glad we found this place it’s 10 min from work. The manager is Nice and very helpful. The hotel inside is very quirky with lots of memorabilia inside. The rooms are clean comfortable and the shower is great to. 👍😁

What a lovely hotel. Stayed in room 5. A very pleasant night's sleep. Comfy bed. Hot water takes a while but not an issue. Room was spotless, beds comfy, and the Rocky bars were a lovely touch. Didnt get a chance to try the breakfast but it smelled delicious and the portion sizes looked very generous when i glanced in as i was checking out. What excellent value for money. Will definitely be back. Keep up the great work!

Recommended!

Very comfortable room. With everything you need. Very nice breakfast. All for a very reasonable price. I wish this hotel has a chain as I would stay in bed everywhere I go!

Unique experience

Pros: The interesting historical detail.
Cons: Hooks for clothes / towels in the en suite! The container for the shower gel needs to be fixed more securely.
Location: Convenient for us attending a family funeral.
This is a lovely Arts & Crafts house with fascinating architectural detail & an eclectic collection of artefacts on display in the public areas. Room 12 is on the ground floor which is convenient, but it is also opposite the reception desk which some visitors might find a bit noisy. The room has been adapted for use as a bedroom so there are compromises. It is "cosy" for two people and there is a big step up to the en suite. It is however comfortable and warm - we slept well. The manager is very helpful and obliging.- we sent out for a Chinese meal & he provided plates & cutlery for us to eat in the breakfast room.He also spent time discussing the history of the house which we really appreciated.The car park was also a bonus.

Close to the city with good parking.
