Check in service was a bit poor. Quite blunt. Breakfast was cleared away by 9.35 when it finishes at 9.30. No one came around to ask did we want anything else. The size and layout of where the breakfast is served is shocking. Tea and coffee facilities seem to be just crammed in the corner with you having to weave in and out of people. The coffee was absolutely disgusting out of the machine. No mugs. No teaspoons. No sugar. No milk nearby I had to ask for all of these. The room was clean but too over crowded with furniture. The bed was comfy and the bathrobes are a nice touch. The bar man didn't have much customer rapport either. I was there for 2 nights but the booking was seperate the check-in clerk who sorted this for me was very helpful and saved us changing rooms. The shower was boiling but not very powerful. The rooms just need a really good going over and a fair bit of TLC. Given how many rooms there are in the hotel parking spaces are very low in comparison.

Ideal location.Room & Hotel clean and staff friendly. Excellent breakfast with good choice of continental or full english.

Room was very hot, even with window open and standing fan on, still very hot :( No mini fridge in room, had to use cold water in sink to keep medication etc.. cool... Tv had no signal, had said to staff about it, wasnt looked at, was fine the first night...

Everything about our stay was great. Staff very helpful, excellent customer service. Building slightly looking a bit tired, refurbishment of rooms maybe needed but everything else great.
