Good location. The mattress was very thin and has definitely seen better days. The walls were marked & scuffed. The cupboard that the toilet was in could have done with a good clean. For a budget hotel its as to be expected.

Very basic hotel but the price was not low. However, for a one night stay and not needing to sue any facilities, other than the bed and bathroom, then just about OK.

Like a hostel but with your own bathroom

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: From a single female perspective, even during the day there were a lot of dodgy characters loitering in the area between the hotel and shops, not ideal
Notice that they dont show pics of the floor on the online photos! Its painted concrete out from the door/toilet area then thin lino around the bed, to give that scary hospital room feel. The furnishings were cheap and cracked. The narrow toilet room (room or cupboard?!) stank of cigarettes (ok not the hotel's fault) but it wouldn't flush. The toilet lid was closed with the previous occupants mess left behind. I was faced with the prospect of telling staff and having them think it was secretly my mess. The room stank of bleach, so it was a mix of bleach and cigarettes (i guess the concrete floor is easy to clean with bleach, classy bedroom!) and the window would only open a tiny bit. The green walls were painted in patches in varying colours of green with stains all over. The shower head was very rusty. I was booked for 4 nights, I stayed 1 night only because it was too late in the evening to leave. The duvet was more of a thin sheet. The aircon/heating was so huge, dusty and noisy it could of blown up at any minute. Overall this place was the standard of a cheap hostel, which as with hostels is ok if you are desperate and travelling in a group. When i checked out the hotel reception staff seemed unfazed that i was checking out 3 days early...perhaps it happens alot?

Not worth money

Pros: Location
Cons: Everything! Staff not too bad.
Basic. It's like a youth Hostel, shouldn't qualify as a hotel.

Ok'ish

Pros: cheap
Cons: Include parking in prices size of toilet and shower
The price was ok but when you consider the £7 for parking there were a few additional options that were cheaper and inc parking. The room was very basic but good enough, bathroom and shower very small almost like an aircraft design, so if you were a bit larger you might want to consider another hotel Overall good enough if you find it cheaper by paying additional £7 parking

Expensive for what you get. Stayed in other hotel chains in Birmingham and paid less or just over and got a lot more. As a minimum a kettle and net curtains so you can have a bit of privacy during the day would be good.

Spotlessly clean

Very comfortable beds, minimalistic rooms but very clean and perfect for a nights stopover. 20 minute walk to the barclaycard arena along the canal via restaurants and bars. Great value For money.
