Great location for being opposite Birmingham New Street Station and amongst the main shops / Bullring. Room was spacious and comfortable. Classical decor throughout hotel which is nice. A good night's stay overall.

Great location and lovely reception staff!

Pros: Location Reception staff Spacious rooms Choice of breakfast items
Cons: Attentiveness of staff at breakfast
Location: Slap bang in the middle of Birmingham city centre - very close to all the high street shopping, the Bullring, and The Mailbox.
This hotel is in a perfect location for anyone going to Birmingham who wants to see the sights and make use of the plethora of shops & restaurants. It is on one of the main shopping streets, and it is less than a 10 minute walk to the Bullring or The Mailbox. I was very impressed with the staff on reception. They were super friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my phone charger behind and they were keen to help return it to me. Breakfast was lovely, but the staff on that morning weren't particularly helpful. They didn't bring milk with the tea and didn't offer any sauces when they brought the cooked breakfast to our table. They weren't unfriendly, just not very helpful. We ended up having to fetch these extras ourselves. Overall, a good experience :)

City centre stay

Booked for an overnight stay following a show. Located right in the centre, 5 minute walk from the train. Staff were very helpful and advised us on how to get to places. Lovely clean comfortable room. Was a little noisy as we were on the front of the hotel, but it didn't stop us from falling asleep and having a good night. Would definitely stay here again.
