Great hotel, the rooms were very clean amd the staff were very friendly. The only things missing were biscuits in the bedroom and no ironing facilities in the room. Lucky we brought own iron. Above all, its a lovely hotel

The hotel was spotlessly clean and quite obviously recently refurbished. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. The standard room size is well appointed but TINY. Just enough room for a bed and a kettle. The bathroom has everything you need, but again very small. The toilet is crammed into a corner between the sink and wall and there's not much room when it comes to using it. Larger bottoms would struggle! The bar is typically overpriced. A double whisky and coke costs almost £10. I guess thats to be ecpected in a hotel, but its still a lot of money. Breakfast was Superb! Full English or continental on offer. Normally it would be a help yourself buffet, but during the pandemic you order what you want and its brought to your table. Whilst the room is small and feels quite cramped, i spent a very restful night here and slept like a log. This is a purpose built hotel that looks like it was built in the 60's. Im guessing that room sizes werent as important when the hotel was originally built, but nowadays i think we expect more.

Thank you for letting us know about your stay, we do have six different room categories, maybe a king size room would have fit your needs better thank a compact double one. I will report your suggestion of some snacks as peanuts or crisps to our Food and Beverage Manager this can be a very nice idea. Best regards
