The hotel has an adjoining function suite so we were disturbed by revelers returning to their rooms between 0030 and 0130. This punctuated an otherwise restful nights sleep. The hotel has good, free parking and easy access to the HIgh Street with a mix of bars and restaurants. It is a brisk ten minute walk to the railway station which has excellent links into the City Centre.

Positioned in the centre of Solihull this hotel, with ample parking, gave access to shops with ease. Staff were all most helpful.

We had a car breakdown and I tried to ring the hotel to cancel, twice the phone was ringing for over ten minutes and nobody answered, I gave up in the end.

Close to a nice park and the town centre which has a number of good shops and restaurants. The hotel room (an executive twin) was recently refurbished and clean.

nice hotel close to shops

Pros: the teabags and cookies even if there was only 2 teabags I had to ask for more
Cons: needs updating better beds and better door cards
stayed here for one night the bed was so hard and hard wallpaper was hanging off and the door card to open our door was a joke I had to constantly go ask for help as the card would not work so we where constantly locked out and had to walk down a long hallway through a door down the lift 2floors to reception to then go all the way back up again, other than that it was ok the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy and the room was desperately needing a make over...

Good value and location for our needs

Pros: Location and friendliness
Cons: Just a bit of sprucing up
Location: In centre of Solihull so very convenient for shops etc and got the venue that we were attending - just a very short taxi ride away
Very warm and helpful welcome by reception staff. Room and bed comfortable. Carpet not very clean. Hotel could do with a bit of a spruce up- i.e. Paintwork and carpets( ( carpets were stained). Restaurant was pleasant and again lovely staff- Liz - duty manager was delightful.
