Excellent stay at the Crowne Plaza

Pros: Comfy beds, lovely room, helpful staff
Had a great stay - the beds were so comfy and plenty of room. There was not enough tea/coffee milk but we asked for some more and got plenty. The staff were very helpful. We thought breakfast ended at 10.30 am when we down at 10.00 am but the staff gave us breakfast. My room mate enjoyed it as well.

very good

It's a pity there are a lot of works in progress around, especially in the back street. It was rather cold for evening walks, the complimentary coffee in the lobby sometimes missing.

Manc and Diesel

We really enjoy the bar and eating chips at the bar. Love the bed. It's very cosy. Takes a while to get the room warm tho. Bath tub needs to be bigger too. But apart from that, very nice. Its like our home now

Unfortunate ending to our holiday.

We had informed the staff at reception that we need to extend our stay for 6 hours and were informd that we had top pay an extra GBP 85, which we accepted. The next day we tried to go into our room after 14.00 hrs and our electronic key diod not work, we went down to reception and the staff informed us that we had to pay GBP 95 and then our key would be re-activated. When we enterd into our room, our bed had not made, our bathroom was not cleaned and there were no towels or toiletries neither water or tea. We are Priority Card members and think we should not be treated in such a way. Our holiday turned sour due to this. William Vella
