For a UK hotel (notoriously expensive / poor service / quality) this one at 44 a night was quite good, especially as it was only a 2 pound bus ride from the terminal (yes, go through Starbucks, through the car park and down a lane 100 metres and there is the bus stop - buses every 20 mins or so - Only complaint was that the air-con heater was nt able to heat the room sufficiently and not enough warm bedding - lights were poor design too...otherwise good

Shower room needs updating and was rather grubby although the room itself was clean and bed was comfortable

I got to the hotel late evening and the hotel had no room keys so they had to use the master key to let people in. I ordered a taxi for the morning as I had a flight and they couldn’t get one but didn’t inform me ( they said they tried calling but couldn’t get through). I woke up in the morning to find out they didn’t book my cab - I had a flight to catch and they didn’t inform me. Luckily they managed to get me a cab but I could have missed my flight

Good value for money

Stayed at the hotel the night before flying from Stansted as the location is ideal. Good value for money and very friendly staff.

Nice hotel close to airport

Pros: staff and distance from airport
Cons: rooms better maintained
Location: plenty of food outlets
staff were very friendly. Noise coming from the air conditioning unit? which didn't stop me sleeping. Well placed for the airport.

Better to sleep in the car

Room was disgusting; kept my shoes on and didn't even go near the shower. Walls paper thin and next door was watching tv loudly until 3am People running up and down the corridor all night and early hours of the morning Asked for non smoking and got smoking

Stay at ramada

The hotel has smoking rooms and although we were in a non-smoking room all you could smell on the corridors was smoke and it was coming into the room from the vents and every time you opened the door. The room was clean and comfortable but the smell is awful.

Very average

Mattress very tired and uncomfortable. Handy location for airport with free parking. Noisy air conditioning unit kept going off even though was switched off
