It needs an upgrade and the shower was like stepping into the seventies but it was warm and quiet and the breakfast was edible. For thirty quid that's as much as you can ask.

From the outside this hotel looks great and even as you enter the lobby. It all starts to fall apart once you go to your room.
First I was given the wrong room and called back down to lobby to get the correct key card.
Duvet was in a cover that was far too small so it hung out of the bottom. This showed a dirty duvet that had blood on it. I asked for a clean duvet and 2 hours later one was brought to my room but it was a single one without a cover. I was in a double bed! After trailing it back to the lobby , I was told i would get the correct one sent to my room...it never showed up in 2 days!
Notice on door to say make sure bathroom door is shut when in use as the steam sets off the fire alarm. However the door wouldn't shut and I couldn't have a shower as the bathroom window was open and would not shut so it was freezing. Also the top half of the window was clear glass so people in the apartments opposite had a clear view into the bathroom. I had to cover it with a towel just to go to the loo in private.
I booked a seaview room but the windows were that dirty i couldn't see out of them.
On the plus side, it was a comfy bed.
I will never stay there again and at £120 for 2 nights room only it is very over priced.

The bathroom was definitely unique, it needed redecorating and replastering. Room very worn out and tired.

Staff lovely. Could do with some updating. Room was very big and lovely view. You can only use cash at the bar or a CREDIT CARD not a VISA DEBIT CARD. Really close to tram stop.

Creaky floor boards, doors not closing right. And the key cards never working when getting to the room so having to walk a fair distance to reception, an inconvenience.

Very welcoming staff and very homely atmosphere. Great car parking facilities. However we were deeply disappointed at the fact that the shower wasn't working, the bath had not been cleaned and was clogged up with hair. The lamps didn't work next to the bedside and overall the room was bissmal.
