Soon as you get to property you welcomed really nicely showed around the hotel to let you no whats available and whats on offer rooms were brilliant clean tidy will defo stay again but longer this time

I like to be home from home when I'm away. Too many 'rules' here, felt like I was treading on egg shells the whole time. You must agree to and follow the 'I will not do this' 'I will not do that' t&c's upon check in. No tea/coffee making facilities in room so if you want one, you pay around £1.70. Only one (blood stained) bed pillow which was like a boulder. If you like sleeping with your head on a 45° angle that's perfect for you - if not, take your own. Room very small and fairly dated (ignore the photos of the modern rooms). Bathroom very dated, you'd be lucky to swing a cat in there - it's about 4.5 square foot that's including a corner shower, toilet and sink. No plug in sink - a trend amongst b&b's apparently to reduce flooding risk! No use if you like a wash to freshen up. No breakfast available the days we went - kitchen maintenance. £3 surcharge on top of room rate once you get there for the use of bed linen etc either that or a £30 deposit per person. Desperately needed an iron to press a few t-shirts, on asking to lend the iron it was broken and a new one on order??!! One iron available for the entire B&B is ridiculous. On the plus side, comfy bed, friendly staff (2 of them), excellent choice at the bar, good location - but that was it for us.
