Far better than it's 2* rating. Room was nice could of done being a bit warmer . There was a wall heater in the room but still felt a little chilly. Food was very good. excellent quality and plenty of choice. All the staff were very friendly. I wish there had been things to do in the hotel during the day as it was February and most of Blackpool is closed.

Breakfast and dinners were good. Entertainment at night was good. Prices and measures at bar were not cheap.

Enjoyable break.

Pros: Good room, good food, great view, good entertainment and staff very helpful.
Cons: Room very clean but furniture could do will renewing.
Location: Location fine.
Had an appointment in Blackpool so made a few days break out of it with four nights at the Viking. Had a great time and we will go back again.

OAP Hotel

This hotel seems to cater specifically to the older generation which is strange when you see the amount of stairs you need to climb to reach a lot of the rooms. I think there was a lift but I never actually saw it. Generally decent condition, everyone knew their jobs and I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the food.
