The hotel rooms are beautiful and despite poor flooring in the hall and a leaving shower - all was fine in the suite. The problem was that my Mum has mobility problems and having asked for no step access on a low floor, we were given a room which had three separate sets of steps to reach it - and when we asked for a step free room we were sent to another room the next day which had two sets of steps and where there were a bunch of men sleeping in bunk beds looking in to our room from a hostel just metres away. This was really uncomfortable and after complaining - I was told I had to pay 600 euro to move to another room. My family were extremely fed up by this point and we moved three times in two days and were sent back to the fourth floor - with steps and surprisingly the room we were in originally. We were told by Clemence all would be well and she then just avoided us for the rest of our stay - pretty poor show and especially when this was a surprise trip and was supposed to be special it ended up being something we are not going to forget as a terrible holiday and feeling the management team did not care enough about us to make the experience better

Sehr gutes Hotel im Zentrum und trotzdem ruhig

Pros: Man fühlt sich wie in einem Schloss
Cons: nein
Location: bereits erwähnt
interessante Stadt und Umgebung auch in Nähe Meer 1 Stunde und Weinbaugebiete ebenfalls 1 Stunde

Hotel ist völlig demodé.

Pros: Bisque d'homard (2 x gegessen) nicht schlechter als in La Grande Maison Bernard Magrez. (2 Michelin **) Dafür war der Hamburger/frites ungeniessbar
Cons: Ganzes Hotel sollte dringend renoviert werden. Verlangt aber Euro 50 Mio +.
Location: Lage ist second to none.
Lage und Personal sind hervorragend. Innenarchitekt Garcia hat einen Stil, der vor 30 Jahren originell war. (Less is more!!) Internet hat an keinem Tag funktioniert. Suite 440 ist " a shame". (=Dunkles Dachzimmer, 2 x Bar , 2 x Safe) TV Fernsteuerung hat gefehlt
