Convenient location for our stay.

Pros: History
Cons: Cleaning
Location: Great location
A hotel with history, Lillie Langtry which has lots of detail about her. Includes photos, pictures and curios including clothes. Nice touches every where and a house with some lovely features. The hotel has a nice feel to it and it is a listed building. Our room was large and well fitted out. Comfortable bed and the bedding was great. The only real negative was that the bathroom floor wasn’t clean but this did take the edge off our stay, how long does it take to wash a bathroom floor! Very adequate stay and a good breakfast but it didn’t blow us away!

Hotel not what I was expecting

Didn't feel welcome when we arrived, extremely hot bedroom, breakfast a bit sparse, overall a disappointment.

Beautiful character hotel

Overall our stay was great. We advised the hotel manager to inform guests about height restrictions in the bathroom as we could not use the shower due to the low ceilings. Also the room was extremely hot and staff should have ensured the radiators were all switched off, no fans in the room.
