During my stay of two days in room 204 at this property, I found the bed was so uncomfortable to sleep on . The heaters made the room boiling and I couldn’t reduce the temperature until I slept with windows open . Water in the shower is almost absent as it’s too slow to have a shower with that . Very disappointing place unfortunately.

As seen

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Paint woodwork externally and update bedrooms with furniture of the day. Bathroom very dated and basic
A very tired looking hotel badly in need of painting externally. Room very basic with minimum facilities as was bathroom. Newish curtains and carpet and very clean but for price updates are badly needed. Staff very helpful and food good. F l

Very run down hotel

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Decor, staff training, food choice, sort furniture, paint Windows, fix the lights, clean the car park ,move the smoking area, replace outdated photos on web
Location: Location off beaten track , not to far from main drinking areas if looking for that.
Very poor hotel , very disappointed , paid more the odds for a very run down shabby hotel. Staff spoke little English , decor run down and paint work on outside Windows falling off. Hotel lights and lift did not work and a large skip was parked outside. Hotel car park packed with traders vans , had to walk through smokers to gain access . Room was outdated with broken table and worn chair chewing gum stuck on table leg clearly visible.pillows on bed had no protective covering inside pillow case head board dirty and stained. Food was over cooked and choice very poor , cutlery dirty ,dinning chairs worn and covering peeling off. very disappointed and would never book their again.....maybe you will have a better stay.

Holiday Gateway

Excellent location and great staff, they compromised, let us check in to our room inspite being an hour early as the check in time is at 3pm. As for the price, reasonable I guess, the room we stayed in weren't that clean and seemed the bed sheets and everything weren't changed but how much could we've expected for that price. Overall great location, great staff but dirty smelly rooms and dirty beddings. P.S only 3 channel on the TV.c

Very poor

The hotel room was very dirty, the whole room needed redecoration. The TV only had two channels that worked. The dressing table chair was stained and material was ripped. The bathroom needed a complete overhaul some of the tiles were cracked, the cold water was warm, and the hot water was warm. Very disappointed.

Overnight stay for business

Stayed here on a Sunday night for business. Hotel is located very close to beaches and within walking distance of some restaurants. Friendly staff and efficient. Room was adequate comfortable bed. Bathroom was basic and plumbing needed updating. Whole hotel, in fact, could do with updating as decor does look old fashioned and a little shabby. Good place to stay for a night if you just need a bed close to town and airport....anything else, probably better to go elsewhere.
