    We loved James the landlord. We enjoyed late night chats with him and had some giggles over a few glasses of port in the bar. James went and cut us some complimentary cheese to enjoy with our port! Room was lovely, the four poster bed was so comfortable and pretty. The pub is beautiful, location is on key. Stunning town either he Xmas lights turning on. Thai food was delicious (we had the red and green curry). Lovely fry up with tasty mushrooms! Friendly staff and a relaxed feel.

    It does the job. Clean rooms but tired. Friendly staff. The place needs some investment as it has real potential! Location, central and next to river, is excellent!

    The internet was slow or failed to work. I had to cancel my final night because a planned Skype meeting dropped out. I took my laptop to the staircase under the mode and it still didn't work.
