Myself and family staying for weekend. No iron or board in room, no hot water, (ran bath for 10 mins as reception said i had to run it for a long time befofe it gets hot...kg never did) and no face clothes or shower gel. Residence bar staff took a drink off table that wasnt finished twice while my sister was out smoking and also added 50c to each drink including mixers after 1am which was an absolute rip off. All in all a disappointing stay as acommadation was €120 room only.

Not worth the price

Pros: Bedroom area clean and comfortable Nice that you could check out up to 12 noon
Cons: Hair dryer or iron in the bedroom. Had to go loking for them and took an hour Thorough spot checks after cleaning Take past guest reviews seriously
Bathroom, mildew and scum bulid up around lower tiles and underneath tap. For rooms that are cleaned on a regular basis this was the biggest let down. I assume there is someone checking the rooms when cleaned. I did not think the Hotel was worth E100 a night (breakfast not included). At the end of the day its a 3 star hotel Had to pay E5 for overnight parking despite pay E100 for the room

Had triple room on 3rd floor. Not a renovated room so quite dated and basic. Bathroom very small for 3 people, no shelves etc to put make up/toiletries etc. No shelving in the wardrobe either. Room a little bit grubby but I saw that they are renovating so I'm sure it won't be for long! Staff very friendly and helpful. Checkin quick. Didn't try out spa etc. Mcgettigans bar in the hotel really good.

Weekend break

Weekend break for my wife and I. The staff in the hotel were great, the breakfast for 8 euro was fantastic, ( I had booked for room only). The location in Bray was perfect, very central to everything. The free use of the fitness suite and leisure pools was great. The only thing to disappoint was the room, it was quite small and in need of an overhaul, although it was warm and the bed was comfortable. The room could have done with being modernised, although the basics were all provided, iron, kettle, hair dryer etc. I have stayed here before and although the room wasn't perfect it was adequate and overall offered very good value for money. I would still stay here despite the room we had this time, we have had other rooms in the past and never been disappointed before.
