My room was cold and the air conditioning wouldn’t warm up, the shower drain was fairly blocked with wet hair. The spa was a lot smaller than it looked on the website. Definitely wasn’t worth the money I paid.

Nice hotel. Access to rooms is awkward though. Also only offer money off NCP that is further away than Queen Street.

Quirky City Hotel with micro rooms

Check-in chaotic. Walk thru restaurant and labyrinth of stairs to get to room. Not accessible for the physically challenged. To get to lift there are 2 levels to climb first. Lift broke down on day of arrival and remained this way. Layout of Bedrooms poor resulting in minimal space despite booking a deluxe suite was told this was one of the largest rooms. Lovely bathroom with waterfall shower. Function room downstairs booked every evening through to a.m. Noise and function room guest foot traffic is a big issue. Complimentary gin and sherry in room which is quirky. Food in restaurant is excellent- breakfast and Sunday lunch superb. Beware of 10% "discretionary" charge automatically added to food and drinks bills no matter if you're a party of one or not. This can get missed, paying out twice for tips. Fabulous helpful staff which was four star service. Be prepared for small bedrooms and unique hotel configuration as this is a Listed Building.
