The hotel worked hard to please during a time of national restrictions. Staff were excellent. Odd to charge 3 GBP per day extra for parking. It wasn't a huge amount but strange not to roll this up into the charge for the room.

Overall very disappointing stay. No customer service interaction, unable to use pool and sub standard breakfast. Go somewhere else

Very dissapointing hotel for a 4 star. Rooms lacked 4 star facilities. Hotel old and tired. I guess the hotel is too big to be realistically maintained

Great hotel

Pros: The facilities and the friendliness of staff. You also receive a delicious cookie when you check in
Cons: Charging for parking, should be free to park
Location: Great location, easy to find
Very nice hotel with brilliant facilities, the steam room was amazing. However there was 4 of us, me and my partner and 2 children aged 7 & 5. Our room had 2 beds and a travel cot which we complained about as a 5 year old cant be expected to sleep in travel cot. It was replaced with a single bed but then there as no space in the room. Another issue was the bed lights were not working we spoke to reception and they sent a cleaner to check this we discovered it was due to being turned off on the wall. The hotel also charges for £5 parking a day

Overpriced and outdated.

150 per night and that's before 12 quid breakfast 12 quid WiFi and 5er parking per day. All this for a hotel that has flick wallpaper and naff wood doors that look like they were uplifted from the mid 90's Shower pressure of an old man's tinkle stream and beds that creak and groan. None of this conducive to a good stay. 4.70 a pint of Guinness? Come on guys it's not London. And a club sandwich that was constructed by a monkey. All in all an utter waste so I went down the local Toby carvery for my 2nd nights dinner. Poor to the extreme.

Shambolic filthy dining room rude staff, over priced, a mess..... This hotel is the worst I have stayed in, ever.

One night stay

Very loud music played from next door room hotel acted very quickly when we complained. Pillows very flat not enough for two people. Room very clean, but chair in room very uncomfortable. Pool really nice. Breakfast fantastic value.
