Hotel was nice and room was ok. Room for the breakfast was all too small and there was not enough breakfast for everyone. Some mornings we could not find free places. Room was big enough, cleaning was very good and bed was excellent. Service at the front desk was not good enough. When we arrived they asked 75 dollars payment in case of if something will get broken in our room.

I was in New York for 11 days and stayed in the Red Lion because of the good rate. The price-performance ratio is very good. That is why I would recommend this hotel to anybody, even though it is not in Manhattan.
