Not too far from Brussels Midi station

Pros: Tea- and coffee-making facilities in the room; good breakfast.
Cons: Décor just a little tired.
Location: The whole of Brussels is on your doorstep!
We stayed here for two nights in October 2017, having chosen this hotel because of its reasonable cost, its proximity to Brussels Midi railway station, and the fact that the price included breakfast. While definitely not at the luxury end of the market it was clean and perfectly adequate for our needs.

Very Comfortable Enjoyable Stay

Stayed for 3 nights. Lovely hotel, warm and modern, very friendly and helpful staff. Though i was apprehenseive upon reading that the hotel is in a residential area, this didn't present any problems and access to the city center is very easy! We both thoroughly enjoyed our trip! The breakfast buffet is perfect, fresh and plentiful, lovely fresh pastries and breads every morning, cereals, fruits and much more. Though we didn't need or want it there are scrambled eggs and omlettes available on request. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Brussels!

Really good Hotel, not so the area

Brussels is not cheap, this hotel is good value. Local restaurants to the hotel are not impressive, but there is a local take away service that delivers to the hotel, this can save a lot of euros.

Point de vue objectif de l'hôtel... Une réalité décevante...

Sur le site, on peut lire "Parking gratuit dans la rue dans un quartier résidentiel". Je tiens à préciser que toutes les rues sont bondées aux alentours de l'hôtel et qu'il est donc très très difficile de trouver une place pour se garer. Et si vous avez la chance d'en trouver une, l'envie de vous y garer passera très vite quand vous aurez pris la peine de regarder l'état de toutes les voitures autour. En effet, à mon arrivée, j'ai eu le plaisir d'admirer un homme qui a poussé une voiture avec la sienne car la place où il souhaitait se garer était trop petite. Par ailleurs, "quartier résidentiel" peut laisser croire que l'hôtel est situé dans un quartier tranquille... Ce qui est totalement faux ! L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier qui craint et très mal fréquenté : le quartier Saint Gilles. Je vous le déconseille donc si vous y aller qu'entre filles, à moins que vous aimiez vous faire siffler, reluquer et accoster à chaque coin de rue. Il est également mal desservi (même si vous y aller en voiture, vous ne la prendrez pas vu qu'il n'y a aucune place nulle part). La gare la plus proche est située à 15min à pied et elle craint également. De plus, on peut aussi lire "Pendant votre temps libre, vous pourrez surfer sur Internet ", ceci est vrai si vous avez très peu de temps libre... La connexion wifi est très instable, on ne peut pas rester connectée plus d'une minute et le délai de reconnexion est parfois long. Le wifi était tellement faible qu'il n'était même pas détecté par mon iphone. Concernant le petit déjeuner, il est bon quand il en reste dans les panières... Quand on arrive à 9h30, il ne reste quasiment plus de viennoiseries et il n'en remettent pas toujours alors que le petit déjeuner se termine à 10h. Il ne vous reste donc que du jambon, du fromage etc... Ils louent en effet des dvd mais ils n'en ont pas beaucoup et ceux qu'ils ont sont vieux et il y a très peu de choix en francais. Nous avons donc été en louer au coin de la rue... Pour les repas du midi et du soir, sachez qu'il n'y a aucun restaurant dans ce quartier. Il n'y a que des grecs, des "turquie snack" etc... D'ailleurs, un soir après avoir été mangé dans un de ces grecs, ma copine a été malade toute la nuit et l'a passé à vomir... A part cela, les chambres sont propres les photos reflètent bien la réalité. Petit bémol, la télé est petite et quand on la regarde du lit, les images sont sombres car elle est mal située. Pour finir, le personnel de l'hôtel, à savoir les femmes de ménage et les serveuses pour le petit déjeuner (il s'agit de toute façon des mêmes personnes pour c'est deux tâches) ne parlent pas très bien français, il y a donc parfois des problèmes de compréhension, par exemple : - je lui ai demandé un coquetier, elle m'a répondu que le service était fini et qu'ils n'en remettaient pas : j'ai mis 5 minutes à lui expliquer que je ne parlais pas de viennoiseries, mais juste du support pour poser mon oeuf. - quand on leur demande de repasser faire le ménage et qu'elles essaient quand même de rentrer dans la chambre, heureusement que nous avions mis la petite chaînette car si nous étions nues, c'était pareil... En conclusion, je ne le vous recommande pas et je vous conseille de prendre un hôtel plus dans le centre de Bruxelles, qui est beaucoup plus agréable. PS : preuve à l'appui avec les photos que j'ai prises de la rue
