First of all we did not know it wasn’t a hotel. We arrived early in the rain, we could not get inside the building. We finally got a hold of someone from Smartflats they offered a lounge to leave our 6 suitcases. Me and my elderly parents has to drag our suitcases under the rain on a stone path to get to the lounge. My dad has a torn ligament in one shoulder which made me stress more. We were only going to stay for one night. We hired an Uber to take us back to the hotel. Once we got to the place it smelled terrible, we ordered an Uber for the next day at 6:30am to catch our next flight. we were ready to go at 6am still soar from pulling out suitcases the day before, but to our surprise the elevator was not working and we were on the 3rd floor. Six suitcases, with nobody to help us and we did not want to miss our flight. This was the most terrible experience we ever had. I think the idea of smartflats is okay, but they have to warn you before you book a place like this explaining what to expect if you arrive early or late and how unpersonalized it is. I will never book something like this again.
