Langsam herabgekommenes Hotel

Zentral gelegenes Hotel gleich neben der Metro 2 - Frühstückbuffet sehr mager - schon fast billige Esswaren. Service ziemlich freundlich und nach ein paar Tagen sogar auch aufmerksam. Zimmer werden nicht sauber geputzt!

Durchschnittlicher Massenbetrieb

Unfreundlicher Empfang durch einen ältlichen Herrn. "Geben sie mir ihre Kreditkarte!" Ich machte ihn darauf aufmerksam, dass bereits alles im voraus bezahlt wurde und ich allfällige Zusatzkosten bar bezahlen werde. Klar, musste ich anschliessend mein Gepäck selber ins Zimmer schleppen! Einen Schrank sucht man vergebens. Mit ca. 12 m2 plus ca. 3 m2 Entrée wies mein Zimmer den gemäss Menschenrechtskommission minimalen Raum auf. Die Dusche ist im Bad integriert. Alles ist sehr eng. Im sechsten Stock hatte ich eine tolle Aussicht über ganz Budapest. Das Personal war mit Ausnahme des Empfangsherrn sehr freundlich. Die drei in der Docu fotografierten Restaurants sucht man allerdings vergeblich. Es handelt sich um den gleichen Raum, drei Mal anders dekoriert und aufgetischt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, mit Ausnahme des Fleisches, welches aber in ganz Budapest von minderer Qualität ist. Ein spezieller Applaus für das Personal, welches im Getümmel der "battle of büffet" stets kühlen Kopf bewahrte und immer freundlich blieb!
