Rooms allocated were below standard however on discussing this with vivienne she very quickly ensured apprpriate room was made available. The lower level of the hotel was very modern and appealing however the carpets upstairs were marked which made them look dirty. Breakfast excellent, just a pity they did not offer dinner or snacks.

Cheap and cheerful

Very helpful staff at the front desk. The hotel is in an excellent location for Keleti train station, which we used to travel to the F1 race. Free wi-fi too!

A good deal

We loved Budapest, the hotel is close enough to the center so that you can walk there and take public transport back. It took us around 30 minutes to walk to the river. It was also very close to Hero's square, the zoo, and the House of Terror Museum. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the mini bar was reasonably priced. It did not carry red wine, however we were able to purchase some at the bar. Our biggest complaint was that we did not have a double bed, we had two single beds pushed together, or as we like to call it a chastity bed. There are only two double beds in the hotel, and we had tried to book it, but failed. Other than that, the hotel was quiet, clean and cheap. Nothing grand, but it fit out needs completely.

Die Zimmer waren gross und relativ sauber. Die Aussicht in den Hinterhof jedoch nicht unbedingt eine Wucht. Im grossen und ganzen hat es gepasst.

Hyvä hotelli edullista ja yksinkertaista yöpymistä

Pros: Ystävällinen henkilökunta, rauhllista huoneeseen ei kuulunut liikenteen eikä juhlinnan ääniä.
Location: Julkisilla kulkuneuvoilla kaupungin nähtävyydet on helposti saavutettavissa.
Hyvät kulkuyhteydet julkisilla ja hiljaiset hotelli huoneet

Hotelli lähellä juna-asemaa.

Asiakaspalvelu oli erinomaista, mutta ilmastointi oli ehkä maailman kovaäänisin eikä siitä silti ollut mitään hyötyä. Olimme vielä matkalla talvella. Aamupalaksi nakkeja (jos riittää) munakasta ja vaalea leipää. Leivonnaiset olivat kaikki kuivuneita huolimatta siitä, kuinka aikasin meni syömään. Huone siivooja antoi uusiksi lakanoiksi tahraiset lakanat.

Hinta-laatusuhde kohdillaan

Perustasoinen hotelli kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta. Henkilökunta mukavaa. Aamupala vaatimaton. Sopii reissaajalle, joka ei kaipaa hotelliltaan luksusta.

Eipä juuri sykäyttänyt

Aula siisti, henkilökunta ystävällistä. Huone pieni, pelkistetty ja niukasti varustettu: ei hiustenkuivaajaa (sai lainaksi vastaanotosta). Suihkussa saippuavaahtoa, ei shampoota saatavilla. Aamupala oli pettymys ilmeistä päätellen muillekin kuin meille: munakokkeli ja vedessä olleet nakit lämpölevystä huolimatta lähes kylmiä jo aamukahdeksalta. Muutenkin aamupala vaihtoehdoiltaan huomattavasti keskimääräistä niukempi. Toki sai vatsansa täyteen silläkin, mutta etenkin "vaativammat kansallisuudet" pudistelivat päitään. Sijainti Keletin rautatieaseman takana muutaman korttelin päässä siitä. Vuorokausimaksukaan ei päätä huimannut, joten varmasti voi ajatella, että hinta-laatusuhde ihan kohdallaan! Aamupalan aikana pienessä ruokatilassa ei näkynyt henkilökuntaa, joten keliakikko-puolisoni ei saanut tietoa, olivatko nakit gluteenittomia. Sisään kirjoittautuessa mainitsia keliakiasta, mutta henkilökunta sanoi vain, että aamupalalta kyllä löytyy hänellekin syötävää. no löytyihän sitä: haaleaa munakokkelia, jogurttia ja maissihiutaleita, juustoa ja kinkkuleikettä. Ja omenaa.

pieni pettymys

hotellihuone oli muuten ok mutta suihku surkea. suihku tippui seinästä irti ja jos sen jotenkin sai viritettyä takaisin vettä ei suuttimesta tullut kun parista reiästä. hotellin aamupala oli pettymys. kahtena ekana aamuna astiat loppu ja kipot ja kupit tyhjillään. ja jos jotain sattui olemaan niin kuivia kroisantteja ja sämpylöitä. viimeisenä aamuna oli pöytä täydennetty, liekö joku käynyt valittamassa. hotellissa muuten mukava tunnelma ja respan henkilökunta oli todella mukava!!
