lovely hotel within walking distance of the town

Pros: location, facilities, clean and tidy and friendly, helpful staff
Location: good location - easy walking into town. we walked up to the light house for the spectacular view of the bay - amazing. good bars and restaurants
We were on holiday, on our way from Sydney to Brisbane and booked a night at the Lord Byron. We were greeted by a very helpful, friendly receptionist and shown to our rooms. Clean, tidy, and most importantly - lovely and cool. After a dip in the pool and spa we headed into town for a walk on the beach, a cold beer and a bite to eat. All within a very short distance. It was a short stay but if I find myself back in Byron I would happily stay at the LB again.
