"There were more than enough car park spaces available, so easy to park the car. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The swimming pool and sauna/steam room are fantastic! Really good size means you can actually swim in it rather than touching each end after two strokes! Very helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and I’m already looking to plan another stay there!"

"I couldn't get the Friday before the bank holiday off work for a camping trip. My friends were making there way down to Snowdonia from Bristol on Friday Morning and setting up Camp, I opted to book into the Royal Victoria Hotel overnight and to work there during the day to avoid arriving very late Friday. I called up before booking to make sure they would be happy for me to work there after checking out on Friday morning, they were more than happy and even Suggested the best lounge for working. I arrived about 22:00pm on Thursday evening, the drive there was stunning. Llanberis is almost indescribably beautiful, as is the entire surrounding area for miles in every direction. check in was painless and the reception manager was very friendly. I booked a single room, I’ve stayed in hotels where there is a gap underneath the door and you can hear people walking past your room when you’re trying to sleep, the room was as sound proofed as I could ever wish and I slept on a very comfortable bed. The shower was easy to control and heated up quickly, and the towel radiator was piping hot which was perfect. The hotel is situated right next to Dolbadarn Castle which I checked out in the morning before working. During my working hours one of the staff was kind enough to fill up my water for me, I felt awkward to be working there after checking out, but the staff were so welcoming the entire time. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. "
