the room is a disgrace. Shower hanging free and poor pressure. Cobwebs on ceiling, furniture covered in dust. Paint peeling off window sills and skirting boards. Carpet covered in marks and stains. Broken power lead on floor. Rooms very cold.

The room has been built in a car park, right outside the back door of the pub, next to where the smokers congregate. My smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night, presumably due to the number of smokers outside my room at midnight. After a party had gone on until way past midnight, I was unable to wake the staff the following morning and received no breakfast. An apology was offered, but no refund. I will be taking this further.

Very friendly staff

Pros: Friendly
Cons: Newer beds
Location: Sawston is about ten miles from Cambridge, also close to the air museum
We all enjoyed our stay Close to a lot of shops, museum, Cambridge
