Comfortable hotel a walk from Canterbury

Friendly Efficient Service, very comfortable stay.

Pros: Position and quality of the Service, Room and Amenities.
Cons: Smokers outside hotel under window.
Location: Visit town centre, array of shops and catherdral
The hotel was well placed within easy reach of the town centre and attractions. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. We had the basic breakfast which was tasty, generous and well presented. We would have no issues with returning to this Hotel and recommending it to others.

victoria hotel

This hotel is like an old premier inn or travel lodge, and the rooms are similar. The room was clean and tidy but had holes in the walls where some equiptment was screwed to and removed but the holes not filled in so they were all to noticeable. However the food is far better, no chicken ding and the likes that you get from the restuarants at premier inns and travel lodge. The location is quite good with a 10 minute walk to the city centre. It was priced along the lines of the premier inn. We had the unfortunate problem of young noisy foreign students who came in at all hours swapping rooms knocking on doors, and making as much noise as they could, this caused us to be woken each night of our 4 night stay. The staff are very friendly and attentive but the reception is not always manned and you have to dial for service. over all I would rate this hotel 7 out of 10 because of the food and the location and the staff but not for the sleep quality.

Ei hyvä vastaanotto

Hotellin respa ei ollut tietoinen että olimme hoitaneet maksun ebookerin kautta ja oli vaatimassa alkajaisiksi maksusitoumuksia. Asian selvittyä ei tullut anteeksipyyntöä ja muutenkin jäi tunne ettei suomalaisista siinä hotellissa pidetty. Ainoastaan omistajamiesoli ystävällinen. Ei toivotettu uudelleen tervetulleeksi.
