What a lovely hotel. Such pleasant and accomodating staff. We got a lovely welcome from Claudia on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. For a 3star hotel it was really good value for money. Centrally situated and plenty of parking

Very nice hotel, close to the town centre

Pros: The location, my room, the staff.
Location: Carlisle town centre is a five minute car/bus ride away with most of the mainstream, high street shops, and lots of cultural places to visit. Great!
An ideal place to stay that gives you close proximity to the town. The room was excellent and exceptionally clean. Staff were all courteous and extremely helpful. Excellent parking, but there is also a bus stop nearby should you be travelling on foot. I really enjoyed my stay here and will certainly be coming back.

Great location

This was just a stopover for us on our way to Scotland and its excellent location for this. however next time we visit Carlisle we are very likely to go back to this hotel.

Nice hotel

Little out of town but no bad thing. Staff great and food on the whole good. Just having some decorating done so can only get better

short break

nice clean hotel.we were in room 101,brilliant.balcony to sit out on and a whirlpool bath.great room.pleasant staff.5 mins in taxi to town centre £4

Basic but clean, we'll situated

My room had a somewhat dated appearance, but was clean. Comfortable bed. Room had tea & coffee making facilities. Very quiet at night, no disturbances. Great value for money, would recommend.

no complaints

After reading one or two negative comments of this hotel, we entered with open minds, reception we were given a nice warm welcome, my partner needed to use the lift to get too our room as she is disabled, a nice young woman walked her round to it, very helpful.Our room decor may be a little dated, but it was immaculately clean, only niggle when you opened the bathroom door it nearly hit the toilet, but it was no big deal, our room was on the front I read people couldnt sleep because of noise from the traffic, l must honestly say we heard avlittle but it didnt keep us awake, when we got washed I have never used water as hot as what we had. From the minute we arrived at the hotel to the minute we left we were treated well by very polite staff, if we asked a question it was answered politlely, the place was nipping clean, we had loads of white fluffy towel, very clean beds and rooms tidied, and towels changed every day, I would recomend the Cumbria Park to anyone we were very pleased with everything about the hotel.
