    About this property

Detached Chalet-style Property in Stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

The Property An attractive double fronted detached chalet-style property, offering spacious adaptable accommodation particularly on the ground floor. Set on a glorious plot of about 0.87 acre, in a semi-rural location with stunning far reaching views over the Misbourne valley. The property is conveniently located within equidistance of the picturesque village centre of Chalfont St Giles and the popular Amersham Town centre. In brief the accommodation comprises: - Spacious entrance hall, Toilet with shower room, large through lounge with dinning area, kitchen complimented by a utility room. There are 3 large bedrooms on the ground floor and further three bedrooms served by a main bathroom on the first floor. Outside The garden is undoubtedly a fine feature of the property and as previously mentioned are about 0.87 acre. The front garden is approached through wrought iron gates onto a tarmacadam driveway providing ample parking facilities for up to 6 cars. The front is enclosed by high natural screening giving a high degree of privacy, with access at both sides of the property to the rear. A raised paved patio runs across the full width of the property, with gazebo, overlooking the beautiful rear garden and stunning views over the Misbourne valley. Steps lead down to the garden, which is predominantly laid to lawn with natural screening to the boundaries. Timber summerhouse. Location Chalfont St. Giles offers a good range of local shops, including post office, village churches, coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and well regarded village schools. The larger towns of Beaconsfield and Amersham are just a short drive and offer a more comprehensive range of facilities. For the commuter, the Metropolitan line and Chiltern Line rail service to London Baker Street and London Marylebone respectively is available at Chalfont and Latimer station, together with the Chiltern Line into London Marylebone from Seer Green and Gerrards Cross. The motorway network can be accessed at Denham (M40 J1) for convenience to London and Heathrow Airport and the M25 motorway network. At High Wycombe (M40 at J4), for Oxford and Birmingham and beyond to North West. About Buckinghamshire Buckinghamshire is situated just half an hour from central London and easily accessed by both road and rail. Within a stone’s throw of the nation’s capital you can be walking the gently rolling Chiltern Hills, rambling through the county’s famous beech woods like Burnham Beeches, or strolling along The Thames Path at Marlow in no time at all! Or maybe history and heritage take your interest – why not visit the Rothschild treasure house at Waddesdon, just one of a number of properties in Buckinghamshire which is preserved by the National Trust, or find out about the area’s architectural and social history at Chiltern Open Air Museum at Chalfont St. Giles. And there’s something for the family too at Bekonscot, the oldest model village in the world, and for fun-lovers and bookworms alike the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery in Aylesbury is a must!! If it’s adventure you are looking for then go no further than Milton Keynes in the north of the county, not only renowned for its shopping facilities but also home of Xscape, Europe’s largest skiing and leisure complex. Talking of shopping you will absorb the atmosphere whilst visiting one of the smaller towns, often boasting many special interest shops – look no further than Amersham, Marlow or Stony Stratford. Buckinghamshire, or ‘leafy Bucks’ as it is locally known, is the ideal destination for ‘a day out of town’ or why not make a weekend of it exploring the county’s hidden gems – whatever you chose you can rely on a warm welcome! Directions From our Chalfont St Giles village proceed up Pheasant Hill towards the A413. At the mini roundabout turn left onto the Amersham Road towards Amersham. Shortly after the 2nd turning on your left, (Bottom House Farm Lane) the property is situated on the left hand side, directly behind the bus stop.
