Good experience all around. Comfortable bed and not too noisy considering it is above a pub.

I booked a twin room and rang to confirm the room had 2 single beds. On arrival, we were offered a small room with 2 single beds pushed together, and it was not possible to separate them. After refusing the room, the manager did offer us the room I had originally requested, which has 2 separate single beds. Problem solved. On the last evening, I had a nasty fall as a result of the yellow warning paint having worn off an outside step. No-one came to see if I was alright later, and the accident was not recorded. I informed the duty manager at breakfast next morning, and I was offered a free meal for my friend and me. The episode was settled amicably, but it could have been very serious. The previous owner, John Waller, is sadly missed!

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent evening meal and cocktails afterwards. Only 5 mins approx. walking to centre of Bourton but tucked away from more crowded tourist areas in centre.

Pleasant experience.

Convenient situation for the village, easy walking distance, great breakfast, would have been better if we had the external door key instead of having to be back about 11 pm .

Nice English B&B with good food

Pros: Convenient and comfortable
Cons: Water pressure could have been higher.
A pleasant English B&B with a full restaurant with good food. It was an easy walk to the center of town. Rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Comfortable place to stay

Pros: A good location for a Cotswold holiday.
Location: The tourist information office advised on various walks. We also hired a tandem from Hartwells for one day.
The room was clean and, comfortable . Tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water on hand. The full English breakfast included good quality sausages and was very well presented. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Nice position in Bourton on the Water

Pros: It's in a good position. Friendly staff, good food.
Cons: Room very tired, needs update. Bed and pillows need replacing.
Location: Situated in Bourton on the Water, very pretty village. Shops, pubs and tea shops. Lovely to walk around the village.
Strange booking in times, before 3 pm or after 6pm, hardly customer friendly. Accomodation very disappointing. Very small bedroom/cramped en suite, very, very creaky floorboards. Tired decor, in need of update. Uncomfortable mattress, pillows almost flat, both need replacing badly. On the plus side, towels and bed linen fresh and clean. Food in restaurant was very good, price in line with most places. Breakfast good too.
