Think the room cleaning standard of the room was reasonably good. Bathroom was cleaned to a very good standard (as one would expect at Cottons). On the whole no unpleasant surprise. I have stayed at cottons previously and will continue to use them in future.

Comfortable but nothing special

Pros: Easy to get to. Rooms very comfortabe
Cons: Service needs to be consistent throughout
Location: Good location. Great eateries in Knutsford and nice walks around Tatton Park.
We went as a couple to enjoy a weekend of swimming/sauna and hot tub relaxation and whilst all those facilities were available, the pool was packed with kids which made swimming virtually impossible and the outdoor hot-tub was engaged with a prosecco drinking hen party. All the loungers around the pool were taken and the whole atmosphere was one of noise. Whilst everyone is entitled to "do their own thing" the weekend of relaxation we had hoped for didn't materialise. When we checked in we had a lengthy walk to our room which wasn't a problem but another lengthy walk back to reception was essential as the room key hadn't activated. The reception staff were very apologetic and used my name which was a nice touch and the guy in the Spa was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was lovely, however as we got to our room the remains of the previous room service was piled up outside our door. Not a nice welcome. The kettle worked but inconsistently(had to press down on the cable) and the hairdryer was full of dust so burnt out when used. We decided to eat out in Knutsford due to the noise which turned out to be a good decision and went back to the hotel bar for a nightcap whereby I waited at least a good 5 minutes to be served and I was the only one at the bar. There was 1 barman who never acknowledged me or apologised for my wait and finally served me with no eye contact. Very inconsistent standards of service but obviously not enough staff.

Friendly & High Quality

Pros: Homely feel
Cons: I am really not sure. This is an amazing hotel at the price and any issues would be nit picking in my opinion
Location: The location is great and access to Knutsford is about £5 in a taxi.
This Hotel is getting better and better. I had a junior suite and cannot recommend the hotel enough. The Staff were very friendly and let me check in early so I could work from the room. The Spa is fantastic and the food is really nice. My colleagues and I will be back.
