Wedding at the hotel resulted in a night of noisy violence and police visits with a police helicopter above the hotel. Didnt sleep all night from the amount of noise and activity in the corridors which showed no sign of stopping in the build up to the fighting. The hotel room was old and tired with hard old beds. The bathroom was dirty with rotten wood fittings on the door frames and bath. The floor was dirty and not cleaned properly. When i left the next morning just before 06:30 there were blood stains all over the corridors and bloodied clothing just left. Will never stay here again, it was like a horror show. No apology at check out.

The hotel is looking very tired. The whole place feels depressing. Price was cheap, but I remember when this was a really nice hotel.

Nice hotel - in need of more kitchen staff

Cons: Rest could do with more kitchen staff. Floor staff req more training chef kept asking floor staff to replenish after customer requests. no initiative
Location: Great location near to Warrington and Chester
Good room and friendly helpful staff all round. However, at breakfast we had to ask for dishes which were empty & was told it would be a wait of 15 minuets ie mushrooms, hash browns , bacon & also had ask to replenish bread for toast and orange juice. As we had already had a couple of items on our plate it meant we were eating in drips & drabs. No vegetarian meat alternatives for the hot breakfast. Will definitely stay again but without breakfast.

Good value for money

An overnight stay. Comfortable room with great shower. Breakfast was lovely. Didn't use the spa facilities. On site parking. Would definitely use this hotel again.
