In the city centre and near a train station, The Pied Bull is in an area with good shopping. Chester Cathedral and Chester City Walls are notable landmarks, and some of the area's popular attractions include Chester Zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium. Chester Roman Gardens and The Ice Cream Farm are also worth visiting. Our guests appreciate the inn's central location.
Absolutely lovely pub the rooms were decorated lovely absolutely spotlessly clean , the only down side was the mattress was of poor quality very thin and uncomfortable which was such a shame . It seems they’ve gone all out on everything else but fell at the last hurdle it definitely would be perfect if they invested in better quality mattress’s & pillows
The hotel was lovely, the moment we walked in the atmosphere and xmas decs in the bar area were really pretty. Our room was on the top floor, a bit small but perfectly formed. If i had to say one negative the shower was not very hot and a bit slippy under foot. Slept very well, comfy bed and spotless. The hotel was perfect location wise central for all the shops.
What a warm welcome! Such friendly staff and atmosphere in quaint setting. The food was well presented and delicious
We both had to have a cold shower at 9am in the morning.
