Below average shangrila

The hotel is disappointing . The food was not good, and there was a huge construction going on next to the swimming pool area, which made it very unpleasant . We moved to another hotel.

Ich habe ein Premier Zimmer gebucht. Als ich gebucht habe, war auf den Fotos ein Zimmer mit Garten- und Poolsicht zu sehen. Als wir dann das Zimmer im 4.Stock bezogen, war die Sicht jedoch an eine Mauer worauf sich der Tennisplatz befand. Meine Frau konnte das Problem jedoch umgehend und unkompliziert an der Reception lösen. Nach 10 Minuten bekammen wir ein anderes Zimmer im 9.Stock. Unglücklicherweise wurde dann noch nur unser halbes Gepäck ins neue Zimmer gebracht was eigentlich in einem 5Sterne Hotel nicht passieren sollte. Aber wo gearbeitet wird passieren halt Fehler. Am nächsten Tag war als Wiedergutmachung eine nett geschriebene Karte mit Pralines und einer Früchteschale in unserem Zimmer als Entschuldigung. Auf ebookers konnte ich nach der Ankunft meinen ersten Eindruck bewerten wo ich geschrieben habe "hartes Bett". Wenige Stunden später bekamen wir zu meiner Verwunderung einen Anruf von der Reception wegen dem Bett. Ebenfalls wurde dieses kleine Problem umgehend gelöst!!! Vielen herzlichen Dank an das Personal, dass war wirklich ein top Service und sehr professionel! Überhaupt ist das gesamte Personal sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da könnte sich die Schweizer Hotelerie noch etwas davon abschauen! Die Zimmer sind aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Teppich sind halt immer problematisch. Ansonsten wurde aber sehr sauber geputzt. Gesamturteil: Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Hotel wirklich weiter empfehlen. An dieser Stelle nochmals herzlichen Dank!

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Habe das Hotel "low season" gebucht und deshalb ein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr neu, aber immer noch stilvoll. Habe ein Package für Frühstück und Happyhour genommen. Die Buffets sind so reichhaltig, dass ich mich kaum auswärts verpflegen musste. Personal sehr freundlich
