Relaxing hotel with friendly staff

Hotel and facilities were generally nice. Clean and comfortable, restaurant was quick and served a limited menu but food was excellent. Only down point for me was the loo in my room. Had to almost sit in the sink to actaully sit on the loo. Very, very close together and no really acceptable. othere than that a very nice venue and staff.

Nice hotel for a quick stop on way to scotland

Pros: Cheap but felt much nicer than a chain like travelodge
Cons: Better menu
The hotel room was clean and very comfortable and attractive. The restaurant menu was unappealing so we went to a chain 2 miles away. Great place for a cheap stop off on the way to scotland.

We arrived not realising that there was no walk in shower,had we realised we would have asked to be moved to a room with walk in shower facility,I feel that stepping in & outf of a bath for a shower could be a health & safety issue If we decide to return we would be happier with a walk in shower,other than this issue we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return Many thanks to all your staff
