Perfekte Lage mit Sicht direkt auf den Comersee und direktem Zugang zur Altstadt mit vielen Bars und Restaurant. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Nice hotel with splendid lake view!

Lovely place to stay at, quiet, clean & spaceful room. The hotel has a splendid lake view! Friendly & helpful staff. Enjoyed a wonderful time over there!

Pros: Space in rooms. Central location.
Cons: Better sound-proofing in rooms and improved breakfast.
Location: Central to bus station, boat jetty and both train stations so very easy to organise day trips and return to airport.
Plenty of space in room which was clean and looked recently decorated. Nice balcony with view of the lake. Door onto balcony was sound-proofed effectively with little outside noise. However, very poor internal soundproofing - on two nights we were kept awake by people in room next door- talking loudly and we could hear everything that they said. Helpful staff. Breakfast was poor. No variety. Rolls were small. Boiled eggs were freezing and therefore not freshly cooked. Lids on containers for scrambled eggs. bacon and sausages were left wide open with cold food. Croissants were nice though.

Dull and dated hotel.

We stayed one night in Como on the way home from a 6 night stay in Bellagio. The first impression of this Hotel was how dull and dowdy it looks. This impression lasts all the way through the hotel. It needs a total refurbishment to modernise to current expectations. Not all the facilities in the room worked - which they were going to report to maintenance. The breakfast was very poor both in choice and quality. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone - especially for the price you pay. If it was a third of the price you may say you get what you paid for.

Habe am Freitag abend für den darauf folgenden Samstag gebucht, jedoch wurde bei der Buchung nicht erwähnt das das Hotel zurzeit wegen bauarbeiten geschlossen ist.. Wir wurden dann zum glück im nahe gelegenen Hotel Palace untergebracht, aber ein geschlossenes Hotel zu verkaufen ohne eine mitteilung bei der Buchung ist ein absolutes no go..
