We hope you will come back and see us again soon. We love to hear that you enjoyed our unique location. However, we regret to hear that you found the hotel worn. I would like for you to know, in case you were not aware, a little of the magnificent history of this hotel, for the chance that perhaps it will make your experience towards atleast just slightly better. The hotel was built all the way back in 1934 as the first luxury hotel in Copenhagen with guests mainly being employees of the danish railway. The building which is designed to resemble a steamtrain is even protected by law for its historic value. Much of the interior we have are originals. Such as the swingdoor you entered from. It is the oldest in all of Copenhagen. The door for your room and the closet you were using are also original pieces. We want to cherish this rich history of ours! We have much more to tell and say, so I hope you will back to visit us one day, so that we can give you all the funny details! Thank you again for taking the time to complete the survey. A complete renovation of Hotel Astoria, BW Signature Collection was completed in September 2021. This 3-star Copenhagen hotel is smoke free.
