Spotlessly clean but in the middle of nowhere. Need transport to get to shops if you need them. Other than that excellent for the price

To start with the road gaining access to the hotel is in a bad state! You need to travel very slowly due to the huge potholes. There isnt much parking. We couldnt get into recpetion and the receptionist just carried on with her paperwork without saying how need to get in despite me ringing the doorbell - thankfully another resident let us in. No greeting from the receptionist, just asked our name and gave us the keycards. I said we were leaving early and asked if there was anywhere that i could grab a coffee - she looked at me as if i had just done a number 2 on the floor in front of her! After a bit of explanation she said there was coffee in the room. Thankfully the room was easy to find as there was no guidance from the reception and as we opened the door, the first thing to hit you was the heat! The radiators were on full and it was unbearable. The windows were very old and i could only lift them to give an inch of an opening. We left the main door open for a while and the radiator turned off in the hope it cooled down before we needed to sleep. My daughter went to the toilet and panicked as it wasnt attached to the wall and it was leaking from the back...the sink also wasnt attached. The shower was cleaner once we had both washed. The fridge hummed all night and the coffee facilities in the room as described by the Receptionist was a couple of dirty mugs and no milk. I am also hoping the smears on the wall were mud! The bed was comfy

Room to small and cramped very small bed no ventilation. Hard to find up a lane no signage on the main road
