Stayed at the hotel for work purposes during the COVID lockdown, it was spotlessly clean and I felt completely safe. They are doing everything they need to and more to ensure visitors and staff can continue to use their facilities safely. The rooms are modern and bright; must nicer than some of the more expensive rooms I have used in non budget hotels! The restaurant was closed to sit in but breakfast was pre ordered upon arrival and inc. a full breakfast if you wanted it. You then eat breakfast in your room - which has a desk and chair. Excellent value for money - couldn't fault it!

It is cheap, has free parking and free hot drinks available at reception. Ideal for a one night stay at, say Alton Towers. The room is simple and you're expected to make the third bed yourself. We were given a bar of soap to share and no shampoo was provided. Good shower, freeview tv. Plenty of charging points for the phones. The staff are very helpful and the prices for food and drink are not bad. It is a budget place and it feels similar to the better end of private hostels. great value for the price. Handy location - you cannot hear the traffic too which is a bonus.

Although the room wasn’t appealing breakfast itself was good. The floor of the room was far from clean. There was a wrapper left behind the door and when I mopped up some spilt water the tissue I used ended up completely filthy, indicating that the floor hasn’t been washed for a long time.

The staff were amazing! The downfalls were there were no normal hotel things like kettles, no bin in the room, the room was the size of a small box with not enough room to even swing a cat, we asked for a room for 2 adults and a 2 year old and they gave us a double bed with a bunk bed on top...i wasnt going to let my daughter sleep up there and it was a tight squish for me to get up there being a fully grown woman...there wasnt any shampoo or soap like not even a little sample pot hotels usually have...now for the bed! That was the worst! It definately was budget may aswell have just slept on the bed slats, my mum and i woke up the next morning with crippling back pain and could hardly move! Bearing in mind we had over a 2 hour drive home that day! There was some mould and paint was peeling off quite a bit where the top bunk was and looked damp. Overall...very small room and nothing like you get in normal hotel rooms and very big price for what it is while its meant to be a budget hotel...

Just like the hotel decription quoted. You get what it says on the tin. Only bit i didnt realise was the sink is in the actual bedroom. A bit of a surprise. But overall very good small room for 2. Very quiet. Breakfast was very good. Nice calm bright environent with no pioed music.

The IBIS isn't in Derby; it is in Willington so there is a long taxi journey in costing on average £16 each way.

Had helpful staff. Nice room facing trees & fields. Quiet & easy to sleep. Pillows a bit hard for our liking but comfortable bed. Good shower.
