The room was basic but clean . The breakfast was buffet style and very well organised. Our room was very noisy until around 2am due to where it was located which was just opposite the town square. Unfortunately there was a bus stop just outside our window so it was very noisy then again from 7am onwards. If staying again we would request a room to the rear of the hotel as we had very little sleep.

Lovely, friendly and efficient staff. The hotel followed Covid restrictions stringently. Food was delicious & service excellent too, we'll definitely be back..

Convenient central location

Very comfortable room, and good breakfast buffet. Breakfast, however, did not start at 7.30am. The restaurant doors were locked until 7.37am with no information given.

Worst hotel

We were over in Donegal for a family wedding and had fond memories of the Abbey Hotel. We were unaware that the hotel was being refurbished so the hotel was noisy with work being carried out from 8am throughout the day!! I found the restaurant staff to be pleasant and efficient but the quality of the breakfast was poor. On arrival a smile from the receptionist would not have gone amiss. I can understand why the refurbishment is going ahead as the hotel is very tired looking but still accepting guests - I don't think so!!!

Hotel sehr zentral.

Hotel ist im Zentrum von Donegal. Sehr schön Donegal Bay war nur wenige Minuten zu Fuss entfernt und war Wunder schön. Essen kann man an mehreren Orten gute.
